Fasadgruppen at Nordbygg 2026 – craftsmanship, expertise and digital solutions for future buildings
On 21–24 April 2026, the construction and property sector will gather at Nordbygg in Stockholm, the Nordic region’s largest meeting place for construction and property development.
For Fasadgruppen, Nordbygg is more than a trade fair. It is an opportunity to show how existing buildings can be renovated, upgraded and energy-optimised in practice through strong craftsmanship, deep technical expertise and solutions that create long-term value for property owners.
Fasadgruppen’s companies are experienced specialist contractors with strong expertise in building renovation. At Nordbygg, Fasadgruppen provides the overarching framework for this work, while the specific solutions, methods and tools presented at the stand are linked to the Swedish companies that develop and use them in practice.
At Fasadgruppen’s stand, several of Fasadgruppen’s Swedish specialist companies will be present, representing expertise in façade renovation, roofing and sheet metal work, windows, balconies and energy renovation. Together, they show how strong local roots can be combined with the capacity to deliver more complex renovation projects.
Visitors will be able to meet experts from several of Fasadgruppen’s Swedish companies, including Front RK AB, BDF, Karlaplans Plåt and SmartFront, together with specialists in façade and concrete renovation. Together, they show the range of skills and solutions needed to renovate and upgrade existing buildings.
Craftsmanship at the core
Across Fasadgruppen’s companies, the foundation is skilled craftsmanship and long experience in building renovation.
At Nordbygg, visitors will be able to explore:
- window renovation, where service life, heritage value and energy performance go hand in hand,
- sheet metal and roofing work, where precision and attention to detail determine durability for decades, and
- façade renovation and specialist façade systems developed for both heritage buildings and modern developments.
These capabilities form the basis of Fasadgruppen’s work, where traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern methods.

Solutions for the next generation of buildings
The construction industry is evolving quickly. Energy requirements are becoming stricter, and property owners face growing demands for documentation, traceability and long-term performance.
At Nordbygg, Fasadgruppen will also highlight how existing buildings can be upgraded to meet future requirements for energy efficiency. Fasadgruppen takes the overarching perspective on energy optimisation and the upgrading of existing buildings, while SmartFront presents a specific approach and the tools it uses in this area.
As part of this work, SmartFront, one of Fasadgruppen’s specialist companies, will demonstrate its approach to energy renovation and the digital tools that support decision-making.
One of these tools is SmartFront’s Upgrade Calculator, which shows how façade insulation and different renovation measures affect energy performance, climate impact and long-term financial outcomes.
By combining digital analysis with practical construction expertise, Fasadgruppen helps property owners move from surface-level renovation to meaningful building upgrades.
At the stand, SmartFront will demonstrate the Upgrade Calculator, which clearly shows the importance of insulation in façade renovation.
Meetings and discussions at Nordbygg
Stefan Forsberg, business development manager at Fasadgruppen and product manager at SmartFront, will also take part in discussions and forums during the fair, where he will contribute his expertise in energy renovation and future requirements for existing buildings.
‘For us, Nordbygg is an important meeting place for the whole industry. It gives us an opportunity to show how renovation is carried out in practice, where strong craftsmanship is combined with digital analysis, energy-efficient solutions and long experience. It is also a valuable opportunity to meet property owners, housing associations and partners and discuss how existing buildings can be upgraded in a practical and sustainable way,’ says Forsberg.
He will also take part in industry discussions organised by Svensk Ventilation and Swedisol, where energy renovation and future requirements for buildings will be discussed.
